According to a professor of mine, the three main goals of a 'gangsta' (hearing a white college professor in his fifties use the term 'gangsta' is always amusing) in the late 80's were:
1) get a girl pregnant
2) take a life
3) survive in prison
So far I'm 0/3, which probably isn't a bad thing.
